The STARSHIP CREW!

Captain : RICHARD ALAN MILLER or better known as THE ROCKET MAN!
Personal note from Lars ( Ricks web guy) :: I have been working with Rick Miller for the past 5 years and have come to know him on many levels. First I must say it is one of my greatest honors to call him my friend. He has made so MANY contributions to science and metaphysics that have yet to be acknowledged by mainstrean media. A good example was his vision of The Holographic Concept of Reality that he wrote in the early 70's and is just now breaking into OUR consciousness. I am going to include his complete bio here so you can see the many contributions he has given us. HOPEFULLY...his most recent writings THE EVOLUTION OF CONSCIOUSNESS TRILOGY will finally gain mainstream attention. So heres the scoop on DrRAM ::
Richard Alan Miller :: Physicist, Bio Physicist, Herbalist :: Born : 1944- and ...very much still cookin'!
Richard Alan Miller has been at the forefront of many fields during his long and varied career. A solid-state physicist with graduate work at MIT, Miller was involved in groundbreaking work for cloaked agencies in the late '60s and '70s. A colleague of Dr. Stanley Krippner, Miller co-authored in 1973 the paper, The Holographic Concept of Reality - a document whose implications for psychoenergetic systems are only now beginning to be realized.
Like so many of the idealists of his era, Miller became quickly disillusioned with the severe ethical compromises forced on him by what he recognized as corporate manipulation. After a brief stint as an engineer at Boeing, Miller left the corporate world in disgust and entered the more spiritually satisfying world of the occult. He opened Beltane Books in Seattle and swiftly became " the Herman Slater of the West Coast." At this time he penned several works including his classic " The Magical and Ritual Use of Herbs."
Miller also co-authored, with his wife Iona, THE MODERN ALCHEMIST, hailed by Stanley Krippner as the most "illuminating" study of Alchemy since Carl Jung. Before its publication, Miller had used an electronic form of the book as teaching material for his on-line course in Metaphysics, taught on America Online.
Richard was born in Everett, WA into a lower middle-class family, his Mother being a famous psychic, and his Father (retired Navy) working for Boeing in the field of electronics. Both his Junior and Senior High School Science Fair projects (1961-2) were used on the Mariner I (1964) fly-by to discover water on Mars. From then on, he was a top “draft pick” for Navy Intel.
His writings reveal a wealth and depth of knowledge and experience in three major fields; Alternative Agriculture, New Age Physics, and Metaphysics. Before many leading edge concepts became trendy topics, Miller was (and is) in the international front lines of research, experimentation and documentation.
Miller began working in the "X-Files" world of Navy Intel (Seal Corp. and then MRU) in the late 60s, and now has amazing experiences and conclusions to share. As an original black ops team-member, Miller's research in the field of paranormal began as a graduate physicist working 10 years with Navy Intel/(Anesthesiology.) During this period numerous foundational papers, including "A Holographic Concept of Reality" and "Embryonic Holography" were written.
Miller began his career in Magick when he could not find answers to his questions in Physics. In 1972 he open Beltane Occult Books and Supplies, a retail herb store with the finest collection of metaphysical books for sale anywhere within North America. He also began to write for Gnostica News (Llewellyn) and Green Egg (Church of All Worlds). By 1975, Beltane was then the primary regional wholesaler for the herb and spice trade.
His focus on botanicals made him the leading world authority on herb farming, processing and marketing. With numerous bi-lines and websites, Miller's visionary work with Alternative Agriculture continues to be 20 years ahead of most curves, including concepts such as sustainability, intercropping, and Forest Farming.
Offering fresh perspectives on Metaphysical traditions his books, papers & articles integrate his scientific research with time-honored metaphysical concepts, leading to such works as The Modern Alchemist; The Diamond Body, a Synergetic Approach to Mysticism. His latest boo ESP Induction Through Forms of Self Hypnosis is part of a new 3-book series on The Non-Local Mind In A Holographic Universe.
He is a Swiss mason and also belongs to O.T.O., A:.A:., and several other German Blue Lodges. He has been initiated into a number of pagan cults, including Church of All World (1974-) and Coven Camelot, Star of the North (1973-). Miller is listed in Who's Who in the World, America, and the West, and now writes for Nexus magazine.

Taking a step behind the scenes of "black ops" research is for most of us limited to speculations. Miller began working in that "X-Files" world in the 60s and has amazing experiences and conclusions to share. An original team-member, "man-in-black," Miller's research in the field of Parapsychology & Paraphysics began as a graduate physicist working 10 years with Army Intel/Pentagon.
During this period numerous foundational papers, including "A Holographic Concept of Reality" and "Embryonic Holography" were written. Richard Alan Miller's most recent work, "Synthetic Telepathy and the Early Mind Wars" discusses how some of his earlier work contributed to new "mind altering" technologies and their current applications.
His most recent works at Nexus Conferences in Brisbane, 2004 and Amsterdam, 2005 was titled “The Non-Local Mind In A Holographic Universe.” He also has semi-technical papers to be presented in Anaheim at The World Nutra Conference in October, 2005. Title: “Lab-Grown Cordyceps sinsensis Hybrid: A Nano-Processed Medicinal Mushroom that Really Delivers.”
Offering fresh perspectives on Metaphysical traditions his books, papers & articles integrate his scientific research with time-honored metaphysical concepts, leading to such works as The Modern Alchemist; A Guide to Personal Transformation and The Diamond Body, a Synergetic Approach to Mysticism.
He brings a similar integration to The Magical & Ritual Use of Herbs and The Magical & Ritual use of Aphrodisiacs. Miller is listed in Who's Who in the World, America, and the West.

ABOUT MARIE POSCO ::: still diggin' for the info :)
A bit about Ricks web guy :: L. Clifford Norager...the LARS :: Jazz/Blues/Ambient Musician : Commercial Photographer : Digital Graphics Artist : Web Designer and all 'round good guy :)
By the time I was eight I knew I was going to be a musician. BUT...my father said if I wanted to play an instrument I would have to study music so I began studying classical guitar. A few years later we moved to Southern California. I began playing guitar professionally at the age of 15. While attending Mark Keppel high school in Los Angeles I worked with a band called the Blendells who was being booked by a newcomer to L.A. radio by the name of Casey Casem ( who went on to become one of the most popular personalities in the history of radio broadcasting!). We also worked as house band for the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. We had the privilege of working with some of the most exciting artists of all time. The Temptations, the Four Tops, The Supremes, The Four Seasons, The Righteous Brothers, Wilson Pickett. Incredible experience for a sixteen year old! I will never forget the summer when a very short, kinda' weird looking guy came on stage with this very uncomfortable looking tall skinny girl and TRIED to sing a couple of songs. They called themselves Caesar and Cleo! ( For those of you just arriving on planet earth that couple came to be known as Sonny and Cher)
A year later we worked quite a bit in Hollywood. At the RED VELVET (on the Strip) we were the opening act for the Ike and Tina Turner Review. She finally dumped Ike and the rest is history!
At this time we were being managed by another radio personality who also had a television show entitled "Shindig." Jimmy O'neill pulled some strings and got us an audition at RCA (studio 4). We were in competition for a record contract with an unknown band from San Francisco. It was either them or us...You have heard of the Jefferson Airplane?...needless to say who got the contract.
Next band I worked in ( Brown Dust ...I had nothing to do with choosing that ridiculous name!) We had a record contract with Family Productions (Artie Ripp and TJ Bruno). There was another artist on the label at that time who was extremely talented but just couldnt get a break. He was working in lounges under an assumed name because he owed everybody money. Yep...that was Billy Joel. During those years I was dedicated to becoming an accomplished musician (guitar) I had no concept of networking nor did I care. BIG MISTAKE HUH? I copped every guitar lick BB King ever created. As a matter of fact when everybody in high school was listening to either the Beach Boys or the Beatles I was buying every B B King album I could get my hands on. ( He was on Crown Records. The LPs were $.99 cents in those days!) I was also influenced by Albert King, Albert Collins, Jimmy Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Santana, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Paige, Howard Roberts, Joe Pass, and Wes Montgomery ( still love to play in octaves).
Anyway in 1968 ( I was still under age but had fake ID) I joined Round Robin and Project 68. We worked a small room in Vegas called the Pussycat A go-go. I couldn't get a sheriffs card so I had to spend all my brakes in the dressing room. One Friday night in the dressing room walks Bill Cosby along with Nancy Wilson and Sidney Poitier. They came in to tell me how much they appreciated my guitar playing ( the blues). We worked all over the world for two years. From Canada to Hawaii ( as a matter of fact we worked with a much younger Carlos Santana in a special concert inside Diamond Head Crater (Waikiki). I really have to congratulate Carlos for his incredible musical contributions!
1969 was the year I produced my first MUSICAL MONTAGE' entitled, " Voyage to the Moon." I began experimenting with two Panasonic quadraphonic reel to reel tape recorders to create AMBIENT Musical environments by massively manipulating sound through a wide variation of recording techniques.( this was 10 years prior to the so-called Ambient Musical creations by OTHER UNNAMED artists!) The piece aired on Los Angeles radio station KPFK in November of 69.'/ I tried to market the concept as SYZYGY but failed to gain any recognition. After more than 6 years of studio recording and no commercial success I finally gave up and went back to performing on the road...
In 1975 I landed a gig with a band that had a top 40 hit. The original guitar player left the band ( ego problems) so I jumped in. Problem was... The Spiral Starecase ( Pat Upton lead singer and writer) only had the one hit "I love you more today than yesterday" and was on the way down when I got the shot. Again, close but no cigar.
Next thing I know I'm happily living on the island of Maui, Hawaii. I spent 11 incredible years on Maui. I played the Resorts and also opened an audio/video production company and worked as a commercial photographer ( had one of my experimental laser projection photographs used as cover art for the May 1979 issue of OMNI magazine). During those years ( 79 to 90) I composed and recorded quite a bit of music. In 85' I took my Porta-Studio 4 track down to the ocean and recorded crashing waves. I then composed some special music. Put the two together and I was AGAIN recording AMBIENT music. I submitted the material to several record companies and got one reply. Windom Hill said there was some kind of problem with the tape. They complained about a hissing noise ( Yes that WAS ocean surf guys!)
For the past few years I have had the privilege to work with some incredibly talented artists. Ron Ellington, Shy the nephew of the GREAT Duke Ellington, is one of the most versatile entertainers around. He plays piano, guitar, bass, trumpet, sax and drums! He also does incredible vocal impressions of everyone from Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder to Billy Eckstein. We were privileged to have been the first duo to ever perform in the main room of the Riviera Hotel in Vegas (TOUGH gig for a duo!) We also worked with drummer and great blues singer, Moses Armstrong ( nephew of the incredible Louis Armstrong). I was in Jazz/Blues heaven!
I went back to school a few years ago in order to master the computer ( impossible!) but I have since dedicated my life to the development of specialized software for the entertainment industry.
VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE! In August of 2004 I had the privilege of meeting Talk Show host Mike Hagan. I was so taken back with his amazing broadcast skills that I offered my services as web designer. As luck would have it he was interested in developing a more robust web presence and we hooked up at that time. I have since had the privilege of working with Mike and the development of his radio talk show web site:: radiOrbit. GO
Thanks to Mike Hagan and RadiOrbit i have been introduced to some of the most amazing people on the planet. I have recently been given the opportunity to meet and work with best selling author and physicist Richard Alan Miller. STAY TUNED! This is going to get VERY interesting...
